South Wales newbie needs servicing

Hello all

Just aquired my first maserati, an 09 QP 4.7. :)

Im based in South Wales, just outside Swansea.

any ideas where i can go for servicing/repairs etc

No idea but I love the title of your thread. No doubt some of our more lewd members will be along shortly with a retort.

There will be some local service options, I just don't know them.

I have an 07 QP (and am thinking of upgrading to the 4.7)
Beautiful beast you will enjoy it
Cannot help with the sevicing in Wales though, stay tuned somebody will!

Should have read the title back !

Thanks all for the welcome and to Richard for his help with the car search.

I'd welcome any member views on Datsc who are an independent based near Cardiff. websearch suggests ferrari and maserati specialist, however only part of the website as seems they do most german too.

Hi Craig, Croeso! (Welcome!)

I've not heard of the garage you suggested so can't help there I'm afraid.
Not yet had chance to check out the Cardiff dealership personally so no use there either sorry.
The only place I can suggest due to fellow forum members comments is, as Richard has said, Dick Lovett's Swindon.

I searched for a recommended Independent specialist when I first got my car and couldn't find one inside 100miles. There is however, a comprehensive list of Dealers and Independents on the forum which is compiled on recommendations only so you should be well served with any of those. If you do come across one not on the list and can recommend them on experience, please do add them to the list as we are not yet spoilt for choice in Wales and the surrounding areas.

On the plus side, if you do have to travel to Swindon then at least the drive over the A470 will be fun.

Craig, I can recommend ForzaGB in Chepstow....I have used them for the last 7 years and can highly recommend them. The chap who owns the garage was a BMW master tech, worked for Ferrari, Maserati, TVR and Lotus and what he doesn't know about cars ain't worth knowing. He is currently looking to expand to move his BMW, Mercedes normal car business away from the supercars and sports cars......He has worked on a number of Maserati over the years and I see an x members 4200 in there now and again. Worth using if you have any problems and I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else and when I get another MAserati he will look after it for me.

The chaps name is Stuart.
