Solid State F1 Relay

I think the term in confirmation bias. As I see it and other have said - it is just a relay operating based on a control signal. If the original relay was working correctly then there is no reason for there to be a difference. A sticky relay or one with poor contact giving intermittent or low pump pressure could well give an improvement, but this is because something was broken, not because it is "better".

The way I see it there are already some good reasons to buy something like this, so shift quality should be at the very bottom of anyones list of reasons.

it is indeed confirmation bias; and of course shift feel is subjective...

I've had the hydraulic pump burn out on the Murcielago, so for this reason alone I thought a solid state replacement for the relay would be a good thing (and am installing it in my Murcielago now too). Any other improvement is a bonus. I also agree that if the accumulator is healthy, and the relay doesn't fail, then the pump should be long lasting, and thats the primary benefit.
