Hi guys, I think this part (which sits in the middle of the dash top) helps the aircon to stay at the right temp, but not exactly sure how. Is the black cap not completely opaque maybe?

Anyway, problem is I've lost the black rectangular cap exposing the sensor. I've searched high and low but no sign of it. Does anyone have an old sensor they've replaced or know where I might get a cover without forking out 70 quid to ES?

I think its the dark red plastic like the front of a sky or TV remote control. I will have a look when im at my car later. If it is and you cant locate a replacement i have a piece of the remote control type of plastic here that might be big enough to fashion a replacement.
