Early 2014 I am hoping to get a new car; but what to get? I have had two Coupe's now and concerned getting a third may become a little ground-hog day. I dont want a QP as my weekend toy, and I can't reach a GT yet.

The coupe tech is rather dataed now and although I love 'em to bits I have considered going for somthing else, either modern or getting a classic...asking for an opinion on here is going to be rather one sided but what are my £20k options?

A higher mileage cherished Gransport, 60000 miles and they're still like new if they're looked after. You wouldn't be disappointed, you've always wanted one!

If classic, and a certain amount of practicality, late Porsche 928 S4/GT/GTS.
Finding one that has not done high mileage and in good nick is tough though, I tried and failed a few years ago.

Jag XF? Great cars and don't come standard with pipe and slippers anymore.

Alfa 2.4 JTD 159 SportWagon TI spec.

Am thinking about one myself to replace the Alfa GT.

Not keen on anything with more doors than passengers I am likley to carry, but I do need a decent boot and room in the back for 'stuff'...in summary a good GT car with lots of class that can still give me a smile when I am on my own down a B Road.

Sports Rover - too chavy
Porsche - to common
Boxter - to small
BMW - an every day car

So my options get smaller

Summers gone now, and it's the same (old) tech so I guess a Spyders not for you? Meets all the other criteria though

Alfa Romeo Brera?
May not be a speedster but in my view one of the best looking cars on the road, always make me double take on the rare occasion I see one.
