It has been discussed somewhere else - I think on the 1 month to go thread, I emailed the guy through ebay, he is 2nd owner who has not registered it in his name, was going to send the service history via email but I never replied - offered no explanation as to why he has not registered it.

How does that work? Who's name is it registered in? Surely not still the first owner? That would be rather foolhardy of the previous owner.

Dont you just love it when the first time somebody uses ebay its either to buy or in this case sell a high value item. Zero feedback doesn't inspire confidence.
