I would like to replace the small shock absorber on the center console. I have the new original shock absorber, but I don't know how to dismantle the rear part of the central console, in particular how to remove the two air vents and the screws that hold the console in place. Has anyone done this job? Do you have suggestions or photos? Thanks and greetings to everyone.

There’s a screw under the ashtray I think and two in the vents

The vents pulls out quite easily.

There is then an inner sleeve to the vent that you have to remove. It has 3 tabs you’ll be able to see when you’ve removed the Centre but if the vent.

You can then see the two screws you need to remove.

You use 2 hands to press 2 clips and then wonder how to press the 3rd one…. Good luck!
