A quick google says it was built to commemorate 3rd place in superstock class. It also said “at Le Mans” which unless I’ve missed something is bollox.

I believe it is just an ordinary Gen 2 RSV but with a very pretty paint job.

The scooter is great - 330cc, i've had 82 out of it you can get two helmets under the seat, it is long enough so the pillion doesn't get touch you at all.

In comparison my back ached after 5 mins on the Aprilia and the mirrors give a great view of your own elbows....

Very nice both my Z's were blue the first a 650 then my 1,000 both brilliant bikes for me.
Should have kept the last one but sold before going to NZ.

At last, I E just sorted the non-starting issue on my 1984 Kawasaki GPz550A1. I checked the number 4 plug and there was spark, and you could smell the fuel but it only tried catching on one. Carbs off, float height checked, jets checked everything looked good. I ordered a new set of plugs and took the old ones out, 3 were wet. I cleaned them and checked to see if they all sparked on number 4 plug lead, the one I had previously checked. 3 of them didn’t! I blow torched them off until they were red hot, let them cool, put them back in, and it started first push! It’s still only running on 3, so the new plugs should finally sort it. I might even get out on it before winter really sets in. Happy days.

Problem with sports bikes is I can pick them up and put them in my pocket. I look absolutely ridiculous on most of them. Or did.
