Hi guys,
Juts a note to say that unfortunately Emma won't be joining me as she will be working away in India.
I will be bringing the other half (Claire)
Probably the best result for a quiet life anyway.

OK, we have a cock up. An Ace Cafe cock up to be precise.

After telling me it was ok, there is now a pre booked event on between 11am and 4pm then another from 5pm onwards.

So, breakfast is fine, but if we want to go to Ace for lunch then we have to park outside....annoying!

Its a bit late to change everything so I say we still go as we have to meet others there also, oh, plus my wife is turning up on the train so we go to Ace and park outside ok.

What we will do is look round the event cars there then "cluck off" a bit early whist its still light and get onto the "spirited drive" and get to the pub in Henley a bit early where we can have food, OK?

If we're going to the Ace for breakfast I see no need to return at lunch. What time does the karting finish (and please remind me where the karting is!). Might be worth looking at a pub for a lunch rendezvous, maybe Henley after a longer drive in daylight?

Karting finishes at 13.30.

Its 45-60 mins to get back over to ACE.

I do have to pick the wife up from Ace plus a few others are meeting so as we have to go that way, we narrow the event to 14.30 to leave at 15.00 and get onto the pub MAF.

I have to get the wife from Ace you see but saying that her mother went @rse over t!t yesterday and shattered her wrist so she may not come now anyway, I will call her now to see what she wants to do.

We have a day or so to sort the itinerary email that I have going so Ill check with her tonight and your right, we don't really need to go to Ace twice.

Ok, just spoke to Rachel and she has pulled out. Her mums shattered her wrist into 30 pieces and is undergoing surgery today and as she was our babysitter for next weekend, Rachel has now got to look after her, so I think we forget Ace at 2 and on with the driving to the pub.

So I recon we should head out of London and get on to the A and B roads.

You will all be getting full details by email tomorrow.

I would be happier not going to ace as it's a ******* to get to from outside London on which will be a very busy Xmas shopping day and let's face it the food is not all that great I vote a quick call to on off the pubs mentioned and see if there could put on a buffer lunch or similar .
