Great day, really enjoyed it. Nice to meet some new faces and see some familar ones. Finally got to meet Dicky, good to meet you Dicky.

I've got some pics of varying quality and have some video but its not up to much really.

Parade lap was a giggle....shame we waited so long and it was over so quickly!

Uploading a video now of the lap, sound is a bit iffy as the mic was fastened to the bodywork, but the pictures are not bad..!! Will try and post some stills in the near future..!!

The BF GS was parked in front of me, had a good chat with the owner, that is a nice colour..!!

Great weekend, managed Sat and Sun, great cars, great racing.
4 other Assetto Corsa's - they must be getting rarer - heard of another one written off on Thursday!
Thank you Miles for organising!
Cheers all

It was Denis Welch driving a Lotus 18 Pre 66 gran Prix car. It had a roll cage (some don't) and it was a slow roll after clipping another car. He owned a race tuning and preparation company and once did some work on an old Healey I owned. He was 69 years old.
RIP

Indeed, at least he finished. Did you have a (at a guess) teenage chap in your jump seat, BigR. I yelled how great the noise was as someone hammered past and got a thumbs up and massive grin :)

Not sure why John's alternator should be fried, unless of course it was that, not the aircon compressor :(

C

It may have been as my teenage son indeed relegated the Mrs to the back. I was too busy grinning and dropping down gears for extra noise :)

I think me, blu elettrico and the matt black gt got it up to a ton down the hangar straight :D

You made us laugh so much Midife when you leant out and said "how f**king cool is this" with the biggest boyish grin on your face followed by "I've got the apex" Thank you!

Miles, your a star for helping to organise this and I thank you very much. We felt very proud to be part of Maserati's history and of course SM! Well done Sir!

Cheers Blu

Excellent news! Thanks, Miles. And a very big thank you to you for all your hard work getting us coordinated, organised and in. Brilliant. We couldn't have done it without you. It was good to see you again, too. A brilliant weekend all round.
