Servicing

Hello again everyone

I know that this subject must have been covered extensively on this forum but I can't find the 'Servicing' sticky or thread so here is my question.......

I have a GranTurismo S which I absolutely LOVE. It is due a service (a major one I think) but I am not taking it back to Maranello in Egham due to the shoddy service and comical costs.

I have used Autofficina before for some work on the car, and they were pretty good and local but....I want know how flexible companies are in general on price when it comes to servicing as the costs, as we all know, are eye wateringly high. If I can get a good deal and save a few hundred pounds then I'm prepared to travel.

Any and ALL advice is most welcome.

Thanks

Hi Bobby,
Not sure where you're travelling from, but had my QPV done here in the summer ahead of the MoB road trip. Did a great job and know what they're doing. They have a price list which should give you some idea of what to expect. No harm in giving them a call or popping in.
Cheers
Ian.
PS They also appear on the list of recommended garages elsewhere on the SM Forum - which is where I got their details from :)

Had a similar issue, and had booked in to Autofficina for a service, however couldnt get any response on service cost breakdown. oil service should cost at least a little less than a major, so cancelled. Took to AV and very happy with approach and service. Breath of fresh air really.

I made the trip down from near Reading in Berkshire to Emblem in Poole for my 4 year service.

Service received was impeccable and the cost much lower than a main dealer. Highly recommend them.

Mines booked in to Emblem. As approx figures, they quoted a bit less than £1200 for the two year service, while my local main dealer (Meridien Modena) quoted a bit over £1700. I ran through the work list to ensure the quotes were like for like. (These prices include VAT)

My car's 4th year service was done recently at Emblem. Very happy with the work and cost.
