In traffic this morning a brand new Porsche boxster passed me at walking pace on the motorway, and I immediately clocked the wheel size when I passed it when it was stationary.
It had 18" rims, and the rear width was 265, like the 32/42, but the profile was 45!
I didn't manage to see the front tyre size in total but did notice the profile was 45 also.
For once a sensible amount of wide wall on a performance car, makes the 4200 rear profile at 35 seem ultra low in comparison!
Maybe Porsche are bucking the big wheel fashion trend and being sensible!
