I've just bought Mario Muth's new film, released last night, about the epic 1983 season between Senna and Brundle for the British Formula 3 championship.

I've wanted to see a documentary on this season for years. Now I'm looking forward to some me time to savour it.

Yea, Brundle wasn't bad in his younger days, equally as quick as that prima donna Senna

He did - briefly. I think it was mainly run by his brother, who's name (from memory) is Robin.

Just watched this - having a quiet recovery day after all the excitement and exertion of Donington Historic and Maserati Tour de Yorkshire...

Excellent video, well worth watching. Astonishing how young they all look, and really good to see Neil Trundle talking about his time as a team owner. Extremely nice chap - he later became the engineer for Senna at Ron Dennis' outfit, and still looks after the historic F1 cars there. If you ever get a chance to hear him speak, go for it.

Yes, I finally got the time to watch it. Not everyone in the household appreciated it but I loved every minute. It's fascinating how Brundle realised Senna could be beaten, the psychology of it is intriguing. Even the buffoon Jordan came across as smart in the mind games they played on Senna.

It's shame there is obviously such little video footage but the black and white photography is gorgeous; good old FP4 and HP5.

I look forward to watching again - on my own - and savouring it some more.
