I can't see it yet in the classifieds, but I know that Dick Lovett Swindon currently have a blue one available - c.1000 miles on the clock.

Seems strange that somebody should sell after such a short period of ownership. Maybe it wasn't what they expected?

It happens all the time. A mate had an F Type V8S that he got rid of after 3 months and got an R8 V10 spider that someone got rid of after 9 months.

Could it not be them selling their demo car...?

Can't see them selling the demo car they only just got it.

Maybe a customer backed it for some reason, the touch nav is known to have problems.

In my experience dealers often shift early demonstrators young. This is because the are pre-production examples and later ones have all the factory tweaks... I've bought a couple of demonstrators over the years and got one of the early Fiat Uno, there were some erm odd things about it, not least unbalanced front/rear brakes!

I used to work for a National Car rental company and we sold most new model cars at 6k miles or six months.

Due to the discount we received for manufacturers we would sell tbem at a profit... even if we never rented it out.

Manufacturers have now cottoned onto this and there are agreements that they go back to them and they put the cars on their dealer focourts as ex company cars....so your delaer demo vauxhal/ford/BMW may very well be ex Eurocar or Avis etc.
