Hi all,

Just wondered if any Scottish Maserati Owners would be interested in maybe joining a Facebook Group where we can exchange photos, experiences, Independant Service garages, and possibly arrange meets etc.

PM me and I'll give you details

Why not just use the forum?

I don't see the point of luring members away from the forum?

Sportsmaserati does have its own FB page that could always be used.

I drove from Prestwick to the Silverburn mall today and observed all the speed limits. Same again on the way back until we were passing Prestwick airport when I decided that we should break the customary (every drive) ton. We hit 110 and slowed for the roundabout, across to the next roundabout at the speed limit and then turned right for Prestwick. When we pulled up at the traffic lights in the centre the van driver next to us told us that we were very lucky; an unmarked police car had screeched out behind us at the next to last roundabout and had followed us but the turned off as we had been doing the limit. Never even saw the f*cker! We broke the speed limit once and nearly got done, where's the justice in that?!! Best I keep more of an eye out I the rear-view or I'm going to wind up in Alcatraz!

Not sure about your side of Hadrian's but on the North side that gets you a dangerous driving conviction, 12 month ban and depending on your record potential jail.

drastic way to keep the mileage down on your maser in my opinion:saifi3:
re OP, as far as indys go, I think there is only Phil at PKsupercars east of edinburgh. agree with matt here though, SM better for sharing than a micro FB account........so get some pics up!

As an aside, I will be taking mine along to the Scottish Italian Car Day in Fife on the 25th.

Hi guys, we have not managed a gathering of any sort yet? Italian car day is a good un, if i am in the country i will go again. An aside while i was investigating options for the last proposed Scottish gathering, i looked at track day stuff and we can rent the ingleston race track for £1000. I wondered if any on was up for it?

I assume that you flew into Prestwick Benny as I'm not sure that you're allowed anti-social Spyders in the car park at Silverburn. :)

Next time your around, drop me a line and I'll let you hear my Larinis! I live at the very southern edge of Glasgow, very near to Silverburn. In fact one of my 1.5 yr old daughter's first words was "Bilberburn"! She like Wagamamas!

I'll be there but my car won't have a Trident on it this year...

how ironic- this is more organisation than any other year! I was the only Trident there one year! There was 6 last year? Year before?
