Lets hope the buyer comes through at the race on the weekend.......Two of the smaller teams going under says it all about where F1 is at.....I blame Bernie........he has not helped and the fact that Ferrari, Red Bull and Mclaren have written in their contract that they have to field 3 cars in the grid gets to a certain level tells me Bernie has no plans to help the smaller teams......

Same here......He should be in jail but he paid off the guy taking him to court...Wasn't he up for bribery ...... then he bribed the person taking him for bribery to stock the bribery case......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I stopped watching f1 years ago, too boring watching the same guys win by a mile.
The first corner eliminations used to annoy me too, they don't they fit wheel arches ? One touch and out !
For me It's as interesting as football or cricket.

The small teams entered on the basis there was going to be a limit on what you could spend, the big boys didn't want this and the rules weren't enforced. This year engines prices have sky rocketed and Bernie withdrew the transport subsidy that helps teams get cars & teams to the races.

As with a lot of corporate sport, there is too much money going into the wrong hands but as long as the world still pays to watch it won't change after all it is Brand Marketing that funds it all.

Ecclestone is the main problem with F1 because he is a greedy ba5tard. He doesn't give two hoots what happens to the smaller teams, he just carries on fleecing them and bollox to the hundreds of staff when they go under. IIRC, he has a major stake in the logistics company that moves the teams about so, whatever happens, he still makes shed loads. He will eventually kill F1 and I, for one, won't miss it.
