I did Route 66 back to front (LA to Chicago) in 2004.
And I did it in an all American Pontiac Sunfire.
The trip itself alright. I did it on my own with no real planning. The highlight for me was meeting a girl in Albuquerque that i ended up staying with for 10 days. She was more fun than the Pontiac.
I looked at the photos again, I laughed at the steering wheel. The horn has definitely been given a work out (the car is a bit like GT Dan as the nuts have seen some service too)!
