Hi All,

Thought I'd take the opportunity to say hello and to introduce my Italian mistress. She's a 2001 3200GT in Sebring Blue with light tan interior. I bought my Maserati about six months ago and have loved every second of it. So far I've had no major issues; over the winter I thought I might have a problem with the thermostat but it turned out running slightly cool is a feature rather than a fault!

I expect that some of you may recognise the car as I believe that it was previously owned by another forum member who took it to various shows and events. Hopefully she'll soon be making a re-appearance on the show scene as I hope to take her to Stanford Hall in June - it will be nice to meet some of you guys there to put some faces to some names.

HI Steve and welcome. Great looking car and a lovely combination. It was that combination on the 3200 that first got me hooked when I saw one at Greypaul when they used to be in Loughborough ten years ago. Looked great then, looks great now. I'll look forward to seeing it 'in the flesh' and meeting you at Stanford. Cheers, Emtee.

Thanks for the warm welcome everybody. The previous owner and forum member is "Roger" who I think is still a fellow Maserati enthusiast posting on here - I think he now has a 4200 but I may be wrong. You're right, the car is in great condition and shows how well Roger must have looked after it before me. In the next couple of weeks I hope to get the wheels refurbished and the paint machine polished as there are a few faint swirls. I keep toying with the idea of getting a set of the Assetto Corsa/4200 style wheels but I'm not sure.

The Cardiff track day is very tempting. I'll see what my work commitments are on the 26th August, if I'm free I'll sign up next week. I notice that there are also some non-maserati cars attending, I have a couple of friends who might also be interested in coming with a S2000 and a TVR Cerbera.

Great, let me know as soon as..aimimg for 20 cars which we have but I think there may be a few that will drop out and even if they don't a couple more will be OK. As a Maserati owner you will def get a place though.

It's going to be fun.

Also note that there is a meet next weekend in Cumbria 21-23 and you are quite close and can pop up for the day or stay the weekend.

Its almost all couples so wife/girlfriends are welcome to as it wont just be driving.

Later in the year is the Annual trip to France 1-3 October, about 15 cars. Great drives, great meals, great company.

Thanks for all the invites to all the forthcoming events, I'll check what I'm I'm doing in October but unfortunately I already have plans for next weekend and hopefully my car will be having its wheels refurbished.

I'm pleased to hear that my car has been pampered throughout it's life - it certainly looks a credit to its previous owners. I'm sorry to hear about Roger's current car being keyed - there are some mindless idiots about. If anyone in the Cheshire area needs any paint or wheels doing I know a great guy.
