Finally got round to painting my cover good fitment too, just had a restock of all these covers if anyone is in need still
I never use mine if I can help it they still fell off,I just think over time the plastic just let’s go due to heat cycles
Is it not part of the mot so you cannot disable permanently? My right side cover (looking from inside the car) continues to be a problem. I bought it from the 3d printed batch above on this forum. The longer attachment prong separated twice. I used industrial glue to re-attach it to the cover. I have used the safety wire hack to not lose the cover. The roads where I live are nightmarishly bumpy and its only a matter of time before I lose another one. I’m going to glue these covers on permanently soon but I would like to disable/remove the inner washer paraphernalia first.
Thanks for the info. I'm responding as Billmao now as stjon1088 has been deactivated. There are two pumps, one for the windscreen washer and another for the headlight washers. Unplug the headlamp pump and it won’t work when the lights are on.
