Does anyone have any tips on how to remove the ABS ECU on a 3200, I have managed to remove 4 bolts but there are 2 at the bottom that seem to be impossible to get to, do I have to remove the valve block the remove the ECU.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

As per Gecara - It's a pain, but you should be able to get at all bolts without removing the valve block. Keep persevering!

Ok I have managed to remove the 6 bolts holding the ECU to the pump but Cannot seem to remove the ECU because there is a metal strut ( part of a frame holding the power steering fluid resevoir ) preventing me from moving the ECU back far enough the clear the operating rods ( pistons ?) in the pump block. Is it just easier to disconnect all of the hydraulic lines and remove the ECU and valve block and If if do this will I have trouble bleeding the brakes ?

I would pursue trying to remove from the top. If you remove pump you will definitely need to bleed system completely. In doing so you may snap off a bleed screw or two. It can be done I have manage twice. You may have to move powersteering resovoir

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem, managed to get screws out in the end but can't remove unit because reforming bar won't allow it to be retrieved???
How did you do this, any pointers?
Cheers
