Removing 3200 GT dash top

Hi Guys,

As above, how easy or difficult is it to remove the 3200 dash top?

A google search revealed all.
Has anyone had the dash top wrapped in leather/alcantara? If so, what is the approximate cost of doing so?

my dash top is already leather!!! Came with the car no extra cost!. did you get the dash top off ok? be really careful you don't drop anything in the air vent! its a royal pain.

From memory:
1. Pull both curtain trims off above the front door glass.
2. Undo the screw at the top of the A pillar trims and pull off.
3. This reveasls a screw in each corner where the A pillar meets the dash top.
4. Remove the central air vent and undo the screws below.
5. Pull the dash top towards you and up.
6. Remove the sunshine sensor multi plug from underneath
7. The dash top can now be removed from the car.

Time: 20-30 mins
Difficulty: easy

Phil Kyle at PK Supercars has his 4200 dash top wrapped in lovely alcantara. It was around the £150 mark from memory. Call him and ask.
