Just got back from taking it for a little test drive.
One thing is for certain, I want a Cambiocorsa gearbox!
The car itself is nice, has a number of stone chips on the front, although they said that it would be addressed before the buyer picks it up.
As will the curbing of one of the alloys. There was also what looked like a scrape from a parking incident on the drivers front corner.
The paintwork as a whole needs a detail, that's for sure.
There's a fair amount of wear on both the driver and passenger seat, which considering it's only done 32k surprises me. My Alfa GT has done more than twice that and the seats are in much better condition.
I also imagine cream is a nightmare to keep clean, as dirty marks showed. But to be fair the sales guy has been using it. I'm sure it would be mint if you bought it.
Now to the much discussed dash board. The cream would drive me insane with the reflection on the windscreen! You can even see it with sunglasses on!
They did say they could cover that for me in black though if required. I would say it's a must!!!!
It's drives quite well, although I thought the steering was very light (are they all like that?), but as it's the first I've driven I've nothing to compare it with.
One thing that I was unsure about was on tick over the revs stayed flat as a pancake, however, it did sound like the engine was hunting a bit. Maybe I was imagining it.
In summary it's very well spec'd (Cost £74k new as it had lots of options). To get it how I would want it, it would need the paint work addressing, the alloy, the dash, a new battery (they had to boost it to start), that's before I put Larini's on it!
It's a fair car, at a honest price, but I'm not sure it's the one for me.
Attached are a few pics I took.
