Rebuilding QPV shocks

My persistent front suspension knock has been diagnosed as steering rack (or possibly shock absorber..) question is, are the shocks rebuildable on a 2005 QP ? I saw a thread on here that the 4200 Skyhook Bilstein shockers were, but not sure on the QPs.

Greg at PCCCPPPCCP in Ireland is doing an exchange sale on the QPV front shocks, which makes me thinks they are rebuildable.

Any thoughts ?!

Our contact for this Jonny was David Askew who was involved in a serious traffic accident, he is on the slow road to recovery but for now the avenue for this refurb is on hold.

I would have thought in the New Year there will be at a point to decide if he is going to carry on or not.
