Hello chaps, first of all id like to say how invaluable this forum has been in familiarizing me how the Maserati beast works...
Ok guys this is about the cooling issue I've had this first half-year/summer of ownership
The car runs cool when cruising (88c) and a tad past center when at a stoplight but when traffic is slow within 15minutes it rises to around 95c & if it's bumper to bumper traffic on a long commute, temperature approaches 100c and the oil gets hot, sluggish and pressure drops..
My recent survey had me discover the fans startup at slow speed(90c) and get to high speed at (95c) Which is 5c late compared to conaero's post from 2009.
I swaped the fuses and relays today and notice that it does operate at two speeds depending on the location.. just not early enough..
Conclusions... i think the relays & fuses are good but does that rule out the resistor?
Is it down to the temp sensor & thermostat?
