Hi,

Does anyone have an instruction, how to fix a quicksilver rear section on a 3200?

Thanks

Hi Roland

1. Put the car on a lift/axle stands and remove both rear road wheels
2. Remove both rear arch liners and rear bumper under tray
3. Pack the tailpipes with rags so they dont scratch the rear bumper
4. Undo the front crossmember and drop the front of the exhaust
5. Undo the rear link pipe brace
6. Undo all the clamps and knock the whole system forward
7. Undo the rear box hangers and remove wiggle and remove the boxes from the car.

If I were you, do it on a car lift or just pay someone to do it, its a lot of mucking around with rusted nuts and bolts, and trying to separate seized joints.

Thanks for your reply Conaero,

My problem is that i am replacing not the original exhaust, so i am missing the hangers to fix the new exhaust on my car!
So i must order the original parts first! :-(

Was never as hard to get mine off as that. Was removing the bolts but no need to loosen crossmember and arch liners etc...
