Hi guys

I went and got my air con regassed last week and one of the managers by the name of Tony was all over my car saying he used to have a 4200.

Anyway, he has some aftermarket back boxes that he had fitted for about 6 months but he's now sold the car. He tells me that it sounded awesome!

I said I was connected to these forums and that i could advertise for him if he liked. (he's apparently not the best when it comes to using a computer).

£600 on nearest offer is the deal and since I have these now my mobile number is 07909 960 472.

He works in Cricklewood, North London and he can fit them for you if you like too.

Cheers

I confirm! it is a quicksilver sport system.
I own one on my car.

the sound is very nice, not too present into the car.
this "used" price is very good.

The leght tips is adjustable.

JMD, did you ever fit the De Cat pipes and H pipe that I sold you off my GS?

How do they sound and what rear boxes are you running, not tempted yourself with these then?

Hi Matt

Yes, been fitted for a whie now. Still got the standard valved back boxes. Sounds great. I especially like the bangs I can create when backing off in between 1st and 2nd. Quite sad really and glad the Mrs doesn't read this!....

Don't really want to make it any louder so not going to go for these.

Did Tony get back to you/ Lorenz? I spoke to him yesterday and he was happy for me to sort out for him. I didn't reply to Lorenz yet as I was waiting for confirmation from Tony. (Sorry for the radio silence Lorenz).

If Tony hasn't done this already I'll pick up from him and arrange for delivery etc.

Cheers

I fitted quick silver to my Alfa 75 and cup and they are really superb. The ones on the 75 are well over 15 yrs old and still look and sound wonderful. At the time they cost a staggering £1200. A lot of potatoes back then !

Think they're around that price now. Thanks for the positive feedback Malcolm.

Still available. Might be forced to put them on ebay : (

Hi guys

Happy new year to you all.

Just a quick note to see if anyone's interested in these before they go onto ebay.

Cheers

Good to see I'm not the only person who stores car parts behind (and under) the sofa!
