Sorry folks. Ive been working all weekend i didnt know it was my turn to set the question.

Quick fire question. You have a 1 in 12 chance of guessing the correct answer resist the urge to go and check if your guess is right.

The question is: In a standard pack of playing cards excluding the jokers there are 12 picture cards. Only one picture card shows four human hands in the design. Which card ?

Jack of Hearts, going on the assumption that he would have hands to steal the Tarts, a bit tenuous but best I can think of.

No. Not the jack of hearts either. 1 in 10 chance now. The design of the cars in question is a little disturbing when you look at the design properly.

No its not the jack of spades. 1 in 9 chance now :)

Great question by the way - but in true forum stylie, I think we need a list with what people have guessed:

Jack of Hearts - Allandwf
Queen of Hearts - Catman

Jack of Spades - JonW

If it is the disturbing one I'm thinking of then its the King of Hearts - Sword through his head?
We have a winner. Various suggestions as to why he has a sword through his head and why the hands holding the sword do not appear to belong to the king of hearts. Different cuff designs on the sleeve suggest they may belong to the jack of diamonds..

The various kings are supposed to depict kings that did exist. The king of hearts being Charlamagne. Which is a bit strange as most depiciction of Charlamagne show him with a full beard and moustache yet most playing cards the king of hearts is the only king without a moustache on most designs.

Also known as the suicide king the earlier single side instead of mirror image designs for the king of hearts showed a battle axe instead of a sword in the hand behind his head. Either by accident or design the king of hearts gained hands when pretty much standard design changed to mirror image and the axe was changed to a sword.

Make up your own minds as nobody really knows the answer as to why.

Over to you Andy.

Let's stay on playing cards.

Which card is known as The Curse of Scotland?

And if you know do you want to tell the rest some of the many reasons this might be the case?

Lets have some fun seeing what answers are proposed. In any case, the real Curse of Scotland is the seemingly never-ending conveyor belt of shi*e goalkeepers.
Both Andy Gorams excepted of course
