Quattroporte tail lights - water

I own a 2016 QP and I noticed that one of my outer tail lights got water inside. Did anyone have the same experiences? I asked the dealer and he said: "If it dries up within a couple of hours it is within the Maserati guidelines."

It did not!

Honestly, I own /have owned cars up to 30 years of age and not one had water in the tail lights.

I do not want to blow out 300 Euros for something that should not be broken - is it self-repairable?

I noticed the same issue on my 2018 Ghibli just after I bought at the end of last year, just looked like condensation but after I removed the light it had water in it. Took the bulbs out so that I could tip most of the water out and then left it in front of the wood burner to dry out for a couple of days. Noticed the water seemed to be getting in around the seal between the lens and the light unit so ran a thin bead of sealant all the way round and it seems to have worked so far.
