QPV switch not pressing

The CD-C and Trip switches on my centre panel switch bank don't press in. Everything else is fine, i.e Radio, Nav, TV etc. they all press in but the two offenders don't push in at all. They have worked previously though.

Is this a simple fix or a a replacement unit ? I'm pretty handy stripping down stuff and rebuilding, but thought I'd ask the question before I start taking the centre panel apart.

Turns out it was a very small piece of plastic which had somehow got behind the two switches.

Fished out and all well !

Ahhh... the small piece of plastic that holds the self destruct button in place!

It was actually a prong from the cowl that goes over the phone sim holder !

I'll get a new cowl ordered on Monday. Although no one will ever know a prong is missing I will.....
