QP V GT S driver's display issue

Hello team,

not my car, but a colleague is experiencing this banded-fade-out on the info screen in-between the clocks in the binnacle..

Not quite my area- is this something that is a 'known' issue on the QP V?

Any info gratefully received

Think it’s common on cars used in hot climes, a few reported these on ML.

New binnacle I think, plus SD3 work on it, tho I think they can be repaired, again check on ML.

Is it not just the cars’ way of complaining that the driver has put it into Auto mode?

Dash lights deffo brighter than mine, I must have a bulb or two out, and I know there's only three......

Several repair shops in the world, just google. There is a good one in the Netherlands (kms-apeldoorn) that have done QP’s before.
