Jeez, that's a low price. £11995 ONO suggests he'll take less - unbelievable. That could be a keeper for somebody to run into the ground. 77k is no mileage really and it appears to have a decent service history. Colours are quite nice too (better than the blue!). Nose cone looks to be a different shade to the rest of the car - could be paintwork from stone chips, or minor accident damage?

You will notice this on a lot of QPs, even those that have had no fresh paintwork.

So if I keep my GTS for eight years at 10k miles pa, it will be worth £12k retail at the end!

If you look in some of the pics the bonnet doesn't seem to sit right in the middle and there is quite a large gap between panel and top of headlight in another.

Age related dents...

Oh and the parking sensors are not working.......cough cough....

It's very cheap and there is a reason for that......Its probably not a well looked after car...If you are selling a car you would fix the tyre for starters. Thats an easy one.........So get it cheap and have a bit of money to do the bits that is needed but don't expect a car in great condition and you will not be disappointed.

You reckon its had the front end done? Possibly low speed knock?

Not many cars at that age that hasn't had paint so could have had a front end respray due to stone chips.....The bonnet does seem to sit not quite right but would need to see the car as it could just be the picture...

The front bumper section looks lifted upwards in the middle hiding the rim of the bonnet in the front on picture. The gap around the left headlight is wider than normal. The parking sensors not working may indicate they were damged and just left disconnected.

Thread on pistonheads references this:

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/...te+for+less+than+%A325K%2E%2E%2E+would+you%3F

with the quote from a poster:

"This was one of our cars, the price it sold for was a fair price, to get it up to retail standard would have cost a fortune and not economical"

Given the price and the listed faults the seller is obviously being candid about the condition, so inspection yes but the seller may have a long list of issues they are already willing to share that might scare off most.

Cheers

He also said

"It sold for £11500. It wasn't on the list it was a genuine car. We saw it as a retailer at £16995. A decent warranty costs £1500, it needed all 4 wheels refurbing, a rear tyre, the nose cone needed paint, the n/s front wing needed paint, both rear wheel arches needed paint, the sills were uneven, there was damage to the interior trim in the rear, the park sensors didn't work and nor did the heater fan. "

and is also taking issue with my comments about panel fit.
