had an Aston DB9 that had the facility to turn the engine over without starting the car.
I presume this was useful after the car had to be woken up after a hibernation.
any idea if these (QPV) would have is ?
cheers

I used to take the fuel pump fuse out on my old GS when it had been left for a while or after an oil change - only takes a few moments. Probably unnecessary but never got any start up rattle!!

I am thinking of installing an accumulator. It’s about £450 with everything, but is single oil line attached to oil port above the oil filter. Press a button and it sends a litre or so of oil around the engine. I occasionally have rattle at startup, so would just like to delay the joy of changing variators a bit.

wow, great minds have already tackled this issue...
love the idea of the oil pump but will require more skill then i possess
disabling the fuel pump via fuse removal sound promising.
sorry to be lazy....where would the fuse be (QPV)?
thank for the replies..
