We have had a few gransports and QP's in recent for not starting very well when hot mainly. Filling the vehicle with fuel acually aggrevates the problem enormously.

After much searching around the fuel system we have found that the fuel vapour valve gets stuck open, causing this issue. Its extremely easy to test and minimal effort to replace. The cause is the fuel vapour valve gets cover in stick fuel vapour and eventually it just gets stuck open. Do not be fooled into thinking it is ok just because you feel it work, it clicks when being operated.

It is located on the N/S inner wing under the bonnet on both vehicles.

Hope this helps
