PISTONHEADS SUNDAY SERVICE: 15/05/11
Join PH with Renault and Nissan at our next Sunday Service meet

It's been a few weeks since the PH church doors were flung open on a Sunday morning ready for Sunday Service, so we are pleased to announce the next date for your worship of all things PH. The date for your diary is Sunday 15th May, and we'll be joining our friends at the Nissan and Renault UK headquarters in Maple Cross.

Those who have attended Sunday Services for a few years will remember our previous visits to Nissan, but this time their neighbours at Renault have decided to join the party too. Not only does this give us more parking spaces, but we also get to see a display of cars from both manufacturers, and it's rather an impressive line up...

Nissan display cars:
Micra SR with a rear mounted 3.5 V6
1971 240Z
R34 Skyline GT-R
R35 GT-R
350Z Nismo S-Tune
370Z coupe
370Z roadster

Renault display cars:
1962 Renault 4L
1968 Renault 4 Plein Air - one of only 6 RHD cars produced
Clio Williams - number 001, the very first car produced and presented to Sir Frank Williams
Renaultsport Spider - Number 001
Clio Renaultsport 182 Trophy - number 001
Clio Renaultsport V6 255 - number 001
Mégane Renaultsport R26.R - number 001

As usual spaces are limited and you'll need to have your name on the list to be allowed in. For this meet we'll have just 335 spaces available, including 50 which are in an underground parking area.

On the day, we will direct the noisier cars that arrive to the underground area and we'll ask the gentlemen (and ladies) to start their engines at 12.00 for a chorus of noise - the PH choir if you will.

For those that don't know the form, the format of the Sunday Service is simple.

PHers arrive, pass the gate Gestapo (aka the PH HQ team) and park without heroics. You can stroll to the restaurant to purchase breakfast and a coffee, and then potter around the assembled cars, meeting new people and greeting old friends.

We open the gates at 09.00 and close the event at 13.00.

To secure your place at this event, please sign yourself up on the calendar here. (Passengers do not need to sign up, just the drivers please.)

The address for the meet is: The Rivers Office Park, Denham Way, Maple Cross, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. WD3 9YS

Thanks to the teams at Nissan and Renault for their hospitality and we look forward to seeing some of you there.

Ends

If so I'll seee you there :)

My name is down but I don't think I'll be going (leaving it on there for now, but will remove later).
