I almost took my GS this morning because it was Friday but I ended up with the Genesis which is my everyday car (not really stock: it has forged pistons and roads, a big(ger) turbo with everything needed around it including an external wastegate, sticky tyres, Brembo brakes and EBC pads, Bilstein/Eibach suspension, etc. About 400 HP and a very nice everyday and occasional track day car).

I was going to a work appointment this afternoon and randomly parked in front of this nice GT :)
So I decided it was a good opportunity to take a few picture, enjoy!

Genesis, never heard of it, tell us more?

That's funny, I thought you would know about it ;)
But I know there was only about 200 sold in Europe and they probably did not sell any RHD so I guess it might not have hit the UK market.

It is Korean. It is actually the first well made car that Hyundai made, in my opinion: RWD, good design and good chassis. They reached the Japanese level with that model in terms of design and quality. The carbon fiber hood and trunk as well as the wheels and exhaust are aftermarket but it looks already very nice in stock form.

Mine is a 2L Turbo, the engine is a cousin of the mitsubishi 4G63, so it has quite a lot of tuning potential that I took advantage of. They also have a 3.8 V6 but you end up with more torque and power tweaking the 2.0T, and with less weight. The model is quite popular in the American market. That one is the Genesis Coupe, they also have a big "luxury" segment sedan: Genesis. 5L V8, it was elected car of the year in the US 2 or 3 years ago but it is not the same platform.
