Has anyone used anything like this to make deicing in the mornings easier?

I appreciate the risks of insecurely fitting/installing on a dirty car…

surely it is just easier to de-ice the car rather than faff around with that sort of thing.

Normally i just let the car idle with heaters on for a few mins on the driveway - have that greenpeace!

Time is tight in the mornings, and I’m pretty sure (in fact I know) the neighbours don’t really want to hear it idling at 5:45 every morning

A proper window scraper that is 40-50cm long, brush in one end, scraper in the other. Buy Swedish or Finnish brand. I’ve seen them in halfords. 2 mins to deice a car.

Cold hands and potentially scratched windscreen. Paradoxically the lower temperatures in Nordic countries make de-icing physically easier. UK ice is tough ****
