Saw one in the wild last week. Metallic blue. Lovely

An Interceptor is definitely on 'the list', they have so much presence and ooze glamour from every pore. Back in the early '70s my Nan used to take me to visit her friend 'auntie Bessy' who lived in a large house set back from the main road near my school, inside the quadruple garage was a Mk3 Cooper S, a MkX Jag, a Morris 1100 and a gorgeous Mk2 Interceptor. She used to let me sit in it while her and nan had a natter in the kitchen. My dad couldn't afford a car in those days so you can imagine how exotic the big bruiser from West Brom was to a young lad like me. Along with my first sighting of a brand new Bora parked opposite our council house in 1973, this was my introduction to the world of proper, grown up motorcars. If I added up how much I've spent on all the British classics I've owned over the last thirty five years I'd probably have had enough to buy something really special by now!

That blue 2900B Lungo its just stunning hence why Alfa use it at most shows and events unfortunately as I have no doubt mentioned before somewhere along its life it lost its engine, it would be nice if Alfa could find one or maybe get Jim Stokes to build one as it would be nice to see it doing what it was designed to do.
