This is a unique opportunity to purchase a Maserati 4200 in perfect condition and close a safe transaction with a fellow Maserati Forum Member.
After 4 years of very happy ownership I am selling my MASERATI 4200 CAMBIOCORSA since the arrival of a new family member made me a MPV driver and I have not anymore time to enjoy my Maserati. The day this car will leave me I will have tears in my eyes! I love Maserati's and will consider the new Maserati SUV when available.
My car has a pristine history, has proved to be 100% reliable and I spent £7000 in the last 4 years and a lot of my time to bring it back to like new condition (all bills available). The car will be sold with new MOT, tax disc, ready to be enjoyed trouble free for a long time.

ASKING PRICE price £16.000

CAR DATA:
- Semi-Automatic, Coupe, Petrol, 44,000 miles. Black metallic, cream leather seats, black carpets.
- First registered in 2003, UK car, never crashed or damaged, never used on the track, full service history new clutch recently done. The original gearbox software was kept, this is loved by many since is more aggressive than more recent versions.
- 18" Maserati alloy wheels, new tires with recent tracking, new discs and pads.
- Maserati GPS navigation system with latest Navteq disc, Maserati GSM phone kit, Nokia Bluetooth, climate controlled air-conditioning, electric front seats + driver memory, front seats with heating system, electric folding mirrors, driver, passenger & side airbags, carbon fibre steering wheel.
- Skyhook active suspension system, Maserati traction control (ASR), Anti-lock brakes (ABS), Electronic brake force distribution (EBD), rear parking sensors,
- Original Maserati 5-disc CD changer in boot, Maserati alarm system, GPS tracker, Maserati toolkit and space saver spare wheel

The car is located in central London, Canary Wharf, E14, you are welcome to come and see it and notice the difference with other cheaper Maserati! Feel free to contact me if you need more info. My email is moscaemail@gmail.com or my mobile is 0794 1911881

Lol I was just thinking the same. It's not often I get excited about a Prelude but this one had me salivating!

Lovely car, Fran, a credit to you. Such good nick and all original too. Hope it doesn't fall into the hands of one of us hooligans who would tear the exhaust off, tweak the ECU and go haring round tracks in her. Sincerely hope she ends up with a good home.

It is a lovely car.

Can anything be done about the aerial? Spoils the lines a bit for me!

The aerial there signifies it is a 02 MY car, only thing you could do is remove it and paint the wing, say around £500, you'd also need to install a new aerial somewhere else.

Cheers Dicky - so 02 but not registered until 03.
Guess I am looking for a bit earlier with that interior really.

Do you mean later? Lots of cars' MY don't match the reg, there's 09 reg QP's with 07 MY and there's 2008 reg cars with 09MY's. Maserati never make it easy, it always says the MY in the front page of the service book so long as it's the original book.

I am looking for a 4200 or GS (not decided yet!). Your car seems a nice straight and well looked after example on the face of it. I have few concerns though as the car has been on/off sale for 18 months or so from what I can see and hasn't sold. If I'm honest the car seems expensive to me for a non-facelift car. Looking at posts on maseratiforum there seems to be conflicting information about how much you have spent over your ownership.

The cars seems good and solid at it seems the main issue is that it is not an example that stands out but has always been priced a little high and the wrong side of the market IMHO. A few k less and I am sure you would get much more interest. Of course this is my opinion and can other opinions are freely available from other good forum members ;)

I like the car but the price would be a bit too far north for me.

Same interior colours as mine - it's very "grown up" if you know what I mean? My 3200 was Ivory and Grey. Much more "in your face" and immediately attention grabbing but less easy to live with.

Black and Tan - classic combo.

Lovely

Sorry, didn't mean it to seem like a PM. Was just trying to gauge opinion to see if I was being harsh or barking up the right tree.

Yes Dicky - I meant later!
I too think it is a little too far north, plus the pictures are of the car 2000 miles ago - possibly when it was prepared for sale and on that tv show.
Allthough I am sure it will still look as good as it does now, do lilke the colour combo though.
