Looks good. I quite like the roof but l would have been tempted to perhaps wrap the mirrors too, not convinced on the lipstick, though roof only may look a bit odd

Roof, tailgate and lipstick on this V12 to looks awesome.

The N430 styling cues are good in my view!

I would retain these.

I think it will only work if you dechrome around the window. The N420 had chrome and they never sold many with the graphics pack where as the N430 had black window surround and suite the graphics better. Also for me the garphics on a Vantage needs those side skirts.....

Hoe are you feeling about her after 24 hours Dean? It's the. You of car you wake up and want to just go a stare at her. Such a beautiful shape.

Completely agree, save the money!
I'm 50/50 at the moment. I don't mind the red lenses but the silver ones do look nicer. Just deciding how much nicer!

You can buy a pair new for £1k. Then you need the centre brake lens which is £100. Not sure how much you can resell the old ones for. If it were a £500 upgrade I would do it but not about more.

Congrats on the purchase, hope you enjoy it.

This was my old car...

If you haven't already, suggest you buy The Definitive Guide (to new Gaydon era) Aston Martin by Grant Neal.

Great book.

I used to own a 2006 V8 Vantage, and may yet return, possibly to a V12 or DBS. I just find selling cars such a pain, which holds me back.

Lovely car that and was my first choice colour. Gees, that better be a good book for £200! The Amazon Kindle edition is £24.99 so might be cheaper to buy a kindle!

Have fun with the remote! You didnt waste time ordering that. Quality is impressive and main dealer was impressed with it too.
Either prices for the clear lenses have increased or I got a deal from main dealer. Might be worth checking new price of red lenses to give you an idea to secondhand value?

You can get a Kindle App for other devices like IPad and iPhone and download through the App rather than buying a Kindle

I like the red lights on a black car. The others look a bit Max Power unless they’re on a contrasting colour. I’ve seen a few black DB11s and the back looks a bit naff with the dark lights.

I found a contact for Paul Cheeseman from PH who does the later clear light sets either used or new, delivered. They are £650 used. Just waiting for the new price. Seen them for £1k but not sure if they are OEM or copies as would only want OEM.

There is also a clear one with a black surround as well apparently.

Yup, fitted already ;) Works well. Really nice to have a full quiet mode or full loud mode.

Nice one Dean.

Personally I'd keep the red rear lights and lose the stuck on bits as I think they spoil the lines.

The Gayden era book is £20/25 new on Pistonheads.

I think I read that squeaky brakes is common on the Vantage.

Looks good Dean - I’ll jump in with my two cents worth on this as well.

All just my opinion, but as a general rule I’m not a big fan of trying to make a car look like something it isn’t. I know plenty of people do this, but I tend to think that if someone is willing to pay, for example, to make a normal Audi look like an RS, or want to try and make a BMW330 look like an M3, then they probably should have bought the RS or the M3 in the first place.

This means, for me personally, I would remove the wrap that tries to make it look a N430, and I wouldn’t pay to upgrade the rear lights to make it look like a newer / Vantage S.

Having said that I do think the clearer rear lenses look nicer... and the later lights and keeping the wrap could increase the chance of selling it on when you have your next itch to scratch?!

Thanks all for your thoughts and opinions. Very helpful. I think I will leave the red lights for now and take my time to look at some in the flesh on Vantages first to see what I prefer. I do agree with most here that I don't mind the stock red lights and no wrap. Always worries me when something has some wrapping as it could be hiding issues underneath but only evident when you remove it. It hasn't been badly but I am sure it could be done better.
