I think Ken was well into his 90's then!
Not being picky but the auto gyro was first developed by a Spanish civil engineer.

If you like odd flying machines then look up Bill Brooks flycycle. Bill - best known for his comment in some scrap heap challenge where no other team but his got close: Bill “ where do you want to fly to?”

My TVR’s I’ve owned. I’m still a big fan and will have more in the future. Next will probably be a 4.5 v8 Cerbera

Good to see some TVR wedge love on here! Currently having my engine rebuilt but hopefully will have back on the road mid summer.

Just got home from a fantastic day at Burghley which was the opening meet for the TVR club. Was fortunate to display in the main circle in my Tuscan

All joking aside. We're only here once. Do what makes you happiest.
If I can squeeze another couple of decades out of life, I sincerely hope this is me at eighty.
Kudos to that man, ( just so happens it was my pops who designed the undercarriage for Little Nellie in the James Bond movie whilst working at Shoreham airport ) ideal machine for here in South Sudan except for the fact that every single goat/cattle herder carries an AK and is drunk most of the time lol , we had to Pay a high ranking General $300 a week just for sitting in the plane every day whilst the magnetic/ geo phys was being flown .....i kid you not ...............it worked though

Now retired and my head says sell the Mas because at some point a big bill will arrive and "the boss" would kill you if you spent a big lump of your pension on servicing a car...........my heart on the other hand says stuff what she thinks, it's a great car that has gave you no issue in 3 years, so don't f'n dare!!!!
But that is not the question because deep down I know I will probably need to let her go. The question is what would you have as a summer toy not needing specialist input if you had 30k? I find myself looking at classics more and more, a late 60s/ early 70s Alfa spider, lotus Elan plus 2, Volvo P1800 to name 3 wafting alternatives that have caught my eye but you might have other ideas.......
2.5 litre Duratec conversion by BBRGTI, stage 3 turbo, 30mpg.. 370bhp. Stage 2 clutch. Various other bits. Conversion cost £20,000. My arthritic hips preclude easy ingress and getting out is rather undignified. So, fool that I am I thought I'd swap it for an OBDII 3200GT.

First Post here so please pardon any protocols not adhered to..
