For my Alfa I use Multiecuscan. I don't know if it will hook up to the Maser as mine is pre OBD2 but it works very well on my 159. There's a free trial version, although I use the registered version for more functionality (at only 50 euro) and use either an ELM 327 or KKL interface (depending on vehicle) into a windows tablet. It will handle A/C, parking sensors etc and also communicates with CanBus.

I bought mine from amazon a few months back and I use it on the Mini. The 3200 I have is pre-obd so I can't use this on that but I have unidiag and a different cable for that.
This is the one and it can scan codes and also erase them. I don't think it can scan ABS modules though unless they are stored in the main ECU.

I bought one of these, but am having problems with it, it keeps coming up ''LINKING ERROR''
any ideas?

No not seen that one. It works on the mini and other OBD cars so not sure why it gives linking error. Does it go through all the different modes trying to find one which will communicate etc?

Ok send it back or use it on your other car. The only way then is to get the Alfa software or UNiDiag working!
