It’s not hard, but the ZF fluid and sump is at least £300 and it’s about two hours on the ramp.

If you shop around, you can find it cheaper (not much!). Two hours I can easily believe. That fluid is about the same price as malt!

Thanks - great to meet you all!

Yes, looking at the petrol V6 for greater range for weekend trips (though I’m sure the 3.8 V8 flies!).
The V6 has got to be more efficient than the V8 Jaguar it will replace…

I drove a Ghibli V6 last weekend and really liked it, however the family would like more interior space hence looking at a QP.

Buying tips appreciated!
I own a QP6 and it's a monster inside, so much room.
My children are all around the 6ft area and it's comfortable.
I looked at Ghibli and the Levante, but rear legroom bad if your tall.

My only niggle is boot space could be bigger, but that's only from personal experience from our trips

Sacrilege :sad1:

Mind you, as previously mentioned, I've seen an increasing number of ferraris with those such cups roof bars

Just like to say W T F

It's just so wrong
i know mate.

When practicality comes to play there's no better alternative than RS6 or any AMG-based estate.

It's getting the fluid refill level correct that is time consuming and a little messy.
Temperature is crucial and best done via diagnostic gear.
I always measure how much I drain out so I have a reference for refilling.
To be fair compared to many jobs today it's an easy task.

Has anyone done gearbox oil / filter replacement on theirs? Did you notice any difference?
You don't want the transmission to get to the stage that you hope changing the fluid will make a difference.
If it goes wrong you will have a big repair bill.
It's a bit like a car with a cam timing belt and you don't know the history of it so you renew it.

Nice.

What mileage is your car out of curiosity?

80k + change. The revs drop a bit sharp when you go from D to P, but other than that I find nothing wrong with the changes at all. Or indeed the car, of which I am extremely fond. :D <edited to avoid offense>
