New windscreen time

Picked up a stone chip yesterday just on the black edge of the driver pillar which I thought given where it was it would be the best result ........but today it split about 10 inches into the screen when I turned the engine on. Gutted.

Certainly hope so, a little brasic this month having to get a new combi boiler fitted

Had mine replaced last year, stone chip became a crack on the next bump in the road. Obviously integral to the structure. Replaced on insurance for £75 excess, but turned into an expensive job for Autoglass, as they broke the first replacement screen before they got it out of the van! Second one has been fine, just has a Pilkington cross instead of the Trident
