FFS. All the anoraks will be out. I might be losing the number plate off the front.

They will be more likely to stand waiting for you on a Bends.

Overtaking at speed on the motorway will get your rear plate but it will be passenger only as the driver is forbidden to touch a smartphone while driving.

This is a solution looking for a problem. The problem is a lack of police officers enforcing speed and driving standards. Expecting the public to do it for them won’t work. This would need to be forensically watertight to secure a conviction and the chances of false positives will be high. Given Tesla Level 3 autonomous driving can’t yet distinguish between a high level stop sign and low level sun with all of their R&D budget tells you how reliable this will be. Fear not, some VC has bought into the coolaide and is about to realise it

They'll be building a dB meter into it next so the young scamps in Bimmers tearing up the streets of your local town can also be reported for being jolly bloody noisy as well as a bit lively on the throttle.

He is a complete and I not sure what his back story is (why he is a ***) he does tell the cyclists off to be fair, but can’t stop them coz they just ride past him.
Here's his back story.

I also strongly suspect his motivation is the income from his youtube channel too as he has a fair few followers and many views of his videos.

I fckucking hate that cnut with a passion. I am waiting for the day I see a video with somebody ironing him out or crushing him under their wheels.

I can't stand him, and as a cyclist myself, he does nothing to help cyclists, he just makes road users hate us.
Yes, he gets bad drivers fined, but so what? We've all done something we shouldn't!

It probably won't matter in the not too distant future. All new cars have to have a speed limiter that reduces engine power so you have to adhere to the limit from May 2022. It's only a matter of time before the EU rules that you can't turn the speed limiter off.

I fully agree with limiting speeds in urban areas - if you've ever been on a speed awareness if makes you a lot more concious of your speed in built up areas - but I think I should be allowed to make a choice elsewhere.
