Welcome to a lovely and friendly forum. Good luck with the search. Mr Grace is a solid and honest chap. Autoshield is excellent too. I lived in that ars3hol3 of the universe Ellesmere Port for my childhood (in the 60s) so remember well cycling all around Backford and area. I imagine that it has changed a bit. Sadly Stanney woods is now McArthur Glenn awfulness.

If you are still local it would be good to be taken for a spin in one at some point. I did pop and look at one in the garage at Richards but didn't want to take anymore of his time up seeing as I wasn't in a position to buy at the time.

Hi,

I have already been to that garage to have a chat around them in general the owner was extremely helpful.

I am getting married in June which is costing £35k so need to get that paid for before commiting or I wont be getting married...

As it is, if a bargain crops up in the meantime I may be tempted however so keeping my eyes peeled!

Added a picture of the current milk float the company car tax is cheap at least!
I have consulted my man-maths calculator and it has advised an easy way to save some money...

A very warm welcome to the forum, Greg. You're in the right place for an endless stream of nonsense and the occasional nugget of pure gold. Enjoy sifting through the mayhem.

If you're willing to travel (and you should be) then also look at Nuvola London. Nareman, the owner, has an impeccable reputation.

Me too! We moved up from the south in the mid 60's to Ellesmere Port (Stanney Grange Council Estate) where we lived for 30 odd years. We used to cycle around Backford and other local villages as a kid. I can remember falling for a 'Chocolate box' cottage in the village. Then, much later on, when I lived in Great Sutton, my wife came home one day with an Estate agent's advert for that very cottage...........The rest is history! First job, build a double garage!
Not much left of Stanney Woods now, more like Stanney Copse with a 'Dogging car park.............Apparently!

To be honest that includes the engagement rings and honeymoon so the actual wedding is about 27k which is average or just below average. The last wedding I attended cost double that

My partner works in the industry and she doesn't like fancy clothes, bags or cars etc so it's the one thing I owe her as she does pay her way and is certainly a keeper

I have seen the blue one and I am tempted but would only want to pay 14ish just due to the miles as I know it will be bloody difficult to sell in the future as I have had a couple of high millage Z4s in the past and it was the same then .
Spend as much as you like on the wedding you and your good lady want - enjoy
As for the car - good luck with the search, Dickie will do you proud if you choose to get him to source and supply.
