So at this moment in time the only new Maserati you can buy has 4 doors. No Sports GT car in the range. When was the last time Maserati was Coupe less.

Sad times indeed, if only they had pressed on with the Alfieri that was at FOS a couple of years ago ...

Your right Andy.

No matter how good the saloons and 4x4s are they are not poster cars and never will be. Lets hope they do not turn into a version of Jaguar c1990s with a great sporting history but a lackluster range of cars utill a massive investment came there way from India.

Current range is now entering car supermarkets at low 30s and at times even less which hardly supports the brands image...in four years time ??? Lets hope there are no major reliability issues or it will be like the 80/90s again.

It's just not an inspiring range now Pete....I was in Dick Lovetts this week and take away the GT's and it really didn't inspire or make my heart beat faster as it used to. I really like the Ghibli, the new QP has grown on me but it's not the car it was with those sporting overtones ..... And although I like the cars I don't love them and yearn for them. Add the 4x4,and it just puts Maserati even more mainstream and think it will be this way until they add a halo type car sports type car that I can yearn for again. Porsche sells more 4x4's than the 911 it also a 4 door car but has stayed loyal to its roots with its sports cars....Im sure that this is just a stop gap until we see another Coupe from Maserati.

I really hope the current range works for Maserati so it can get on with the job of building something that will make us all go ....WOW and take our breath away....The way the GT did for me and the 3200 did back in the 90's.
