Nice video.
Shame about the technical inaccuracies though.
'GS has modified inlet manifold and valve seats' really?
'GS suspension is stiffer' lower yes, but not stiffer.

Found this video myself the other day, quite enjoyed it. In part he mentioned how the GS manages to balance day to day driving and more sporty B roads so well, one of the main reasons i am looking for one. The Evo magazine review said the same thing too.

Those stats are true when comparing to a pre-'03 4200 are they not?....

Yes but the GS came out a couple of years after the first pre 03 cars, so the differences must refer between the preceding 03/04 4200 and the first 05 GS.
Its like saying the new Mark 3 has the following improvements over the Mark 1, forgetting about the Mark 2!

Regarding inlet manifold and valve seats, not aware of any engine change (excl. exhaust) with the GS over the previous model 4200 to gain more power.
Regarding suspension, the 03 onwards suspension springs are the same, they did not change the spring rate for the GS, they just lowered it slightly.

Must be the odd one out...found it rather amateurish in content, sound and presentation.

No, you're right Mike, the comparison is vague, as it compares launch model with launch model and ignores the improvements made in between.

The inlet manifold and valve seats were improved from the 4200 launch model. The valve seats were a different grind and the manifold was better faced to the head. Marginal, as nothing more that improved tolerances during bulk manufacture.

This is how it has been explained to me when I asked the same questions.
