Well done on such a top job. Was it a complete interior trim, including carpets & door panels? Did the dsh top need much work?

Need to get my 3200 dash top done, and drivers side seat bolster. Might try out these guys,
After a few weeks of waiting the results of the interior are back and wow it looks like it just left the showroom, even the guys at Shiltech commented on the attention to detail

Massive thanks to Steve and guys at Classic Car Services for such a superb job :goodjob:View attachment 26514View attachment 26515View attachment 26516View attachment 26517

Dash is all original and so no work required but everything else replaced including headlining, door cards, Wilton carpets etc

The whole re trim including genuine Ferrari leather came in at £3500 which I was well chuffed with and pleasure to use a company that does what they say when they say:thumb3:

Didn't realise the 308 had appreciated so much, was looking at these just a few years ago and they were peanuts. The car looks great, good job!

Likewise and it took me a long time to find them but when I visited they are doing some seat repair on behalf of Bentley UK so I knew they were up to the job

Nice looking man cave.

At the NEC 28-29th we saw a 308 unsold, but asking £37k
When a 456 GT manual went for less than £32k albeit LHD.

I think prices are levelling out and we were offered a lot for it while at Shiltech last week but for me I just love the car whether it goes up or down

The car at the NEC probably is not very representative it is the least desirable model being a GTBi, carb cars seem to be the most desirable followed closely by the QV. That car is also Cat D and is missing the Pinninfarina badges. Finally the interior has obviously been retrimmed and that bright blue piping is IMHO vile, so all that might explain why that car was unsold.

Also the 456 was not a Modificato, is as you say LHD, the colour combination of Yellow with Blue interior might not be to everyones taste and finally the description of the history says 'This is based on Japanese translation being correct so again, is unwarranted.' So with all that I would have thought it went for a good price.
