New front Splitter and only a £45 part

Hi Guys,

Thought I'd share my front splitter with you all.... £45 and personally it gives its just enough for me.

Car is nearly complete lowered it 20 turns around today too and no nasty noises etc

I did this on my Audi RS4 and it is a common mod. It work's on your black car but not sure it would work on them all.

I understand what your saying Contigo but it's just black plastic.... It looked lovely on my red A5 and blue RS4. I'm sure its not for everyone but personally many little changes make a big difference

Do you feel any advantage at speed?

I havent pushed to car to be honest and I'm more a slow driver listening to my exhaust note these days, to give any honest opinion its more a looks thing for me. Any performance benefits I'd rather someone more qualified to answer that

Theoretically it must create more downforce for more stable top speeds.... But I'm not going to put it to the test

But why would anyone want to fit an aftermarket front splitter to a lovely old classic 3200/4200/GS anyway.:baffle:

If are cars are going to the worth anything in the next few years, they need to be standard factory spec!

Mine is a 2006... It's not in anyway shape of form a classic. Its still modern & current personally

That's a 9 year old car you have there Paul...only a couple of years away from classic car insurance!

Really - at how many years do cars become classic for Insurance purposes - my wallet is still smarting from the £482 extraction!!!

It used to be 25 years but some are says 15 years these days. Still out of my 10 cars I have its my newest one lol

Its 10 years, just got my Spider on with Lancaster Insurance on a zero no claims, 3k mile policy for £250

Aplan wanted £500 for the same thing on a leisure policy.

£250 is very cheap!

I have a trade policy so out of touch with prices these days
