Guys, just to pick one or two brains.

1. The Community Infrastructure levy has been binned, unlikely to be re-imposed?

2. VAT exemption on new build homes still ?

3. Stamp duty can be levied on the new build property when finished due to overall value or is only on payable property sales?

Vat exemption on new build is as was and will be ie no vat on new properties and reclaimable on completion of self build.
Stamp duty is payable on land you buy at purchase price. No stamp duty if you already own as part of a larger holding.
Stamp duty only becomes payable by the purchaser when the completed house is sold on to a third party.
