Hi all
Had a 3200 for about 6 weeks now and loving it. Well most of the time. Lot of "check engine". Emblem have looked and done a few bits but guess it will be back there next week. Comes on about 7 out of 10 start ups. Turn off, turn back on and all ok.
Just did 600 miles in France last week and what fun. Am in POOLE and hopefully will be at the Fovant badges day. Subject to work.

Cheers

Swampy

Hi mate and welcome.

Well, it sounds like the car runs ok then, light on or off? Have you been starting your car with your foot on the gas pedal?

You are in good hands with Emblem, and they have all the computers to diagnose it correctly so no point in anyone on her guessing as to what you problem might be.

...oh go on then, Ill have a guess.

1. Fly by wire throttle system failure or requires reset.
2. Lambda/oxygen sensor failure

Let us know how you get on, and welcome.

Hi Dave,
I'm glad we met today.

Yes everyone, at the ASDA carpark in Poole; doing me drinks shopping and , lo and behold, a Maser.
Lovely job I thought, in Grigio and looking superb.
This is a good, low-mileage 3200. Hope you didn't mind me having a closer look as I came out Dave?

As I said, any problems, just post your concerns and someone will have an answer.
This is the place to be.

Andy,
you are either
1) employed by said company or
2) a supermarket anorak just out to check out the stores.

Now I would love start the debate that I'm a superstore anorak as that would be intersting...I think not....

I'm ASDA's Transport Operations manager for the South West and South Wales for ambient product.

Watched a documentary on TV yesterday , re the birth of containerisation since the 60's and last ten mins were all about the Asda operation in the UK , many moons ago Andy when i quit working in the middle east i used to be the Transport Operations manager for what is now Travis Perkins then it was Sandell Perkins , interesting work when your with a growing company , but they wanted every ounce of flesh i had to offer , and were to slow to recompense for it ,

Andy,
whilst not a supermarket afficionado, when I do have to make the old drinks purchases, I choose to go to ASDA rather than the others.
My wife is sold on the ASDA experience ....think I'd get my kicks elsewhere though.

Not often one sees a Maserati in a supermarket car-park.
I avoid my local Tesco as they have those trolley-wash chaps roaming around; they spot a Maserati and they are all over you.
But we warned, I've watched them and they begin washing from the bottom up!!!

Found that out at our local hand carwash places , 90% of the ones in Milton Keynes and there are around 20-25 are Polish/Rumanian or some kind of eastern european persuasion , and whilst i commend them for being entrepreneurial try and explain to them you want it done by a two bucket method Impossible , i visit them reguarly with the Mercs and while doing a very good job 10 quid a time , visually both cars are covered in swirl marks , Both the 4200 and GS have only ever been hand washed by me and are virtually swirl free so it goes to prove it works long term ,

Would i now sacrifice all the time over the last 3 years hand washing for a regular quick eastern european spiv followed by a yearly detail for say £300 i think not , nothing i like better in the spring/summer than to be out early on a Sunday spiv the cars and then go for a spanking drive cant beat it , had a lovely drive around Buckingham and Stowe yesterday, watched some cricket at Stowe school in the sun (boring) and a few picks with Stowe school in the background , couldn't wait to get back in the car driving

Yep, at the rate it's going we will be giving beer away......Two weeks ago it was 20 440ml cans of Stella for £9. You wait until the world cup there is bound to be some real good prices on beer/lager...Dont' drink it myself but with what was sold on the last promo I would say the rest of the country does

Wife beater, my favourite! Awesome deal that Andy.

My wife refers to it as 'actatwat'...i think she formed this opinion from watching me drink it.
